No, if Kerry wouldn't walk so many guys and rack up high pitch counts, he'd stay in the game longer and be able to finish what he starts. It's called using your experience to become a smarter pitcher. We have the best in the game at doing it in Maddux, but none of the other pitchers seem to take advantage of it.
