So let me get this straight. We have yet to reach the Florida half of the 8th and Dusty has basically used every reliever he has available other than Wuertz, Novoa, Rusch and, of course, Dempster. Let's hope Eyre can give them another inning. I don't want to see any of the gascans out there and I doubt Dusty would pitch Dempster beyond the 9th.

 

He's used every good reliever with the exception of Dempster.

Hairston's OPS dips below .530.

 

On a lighter note, Comedy Central is reshowing Jim Gaffigan's Beyond the Pale in 35 minutes.

 

I was talking about the hot pocket bit with a friend earlier. He's awesome.

Maybe Cubs hitters have been eating hot pockets before their ABs and need to get back to the dugout ASAP.

 

I think I've seen it about 8 times already, but it's still worth watching.
