that was a bitch move by AJ IMO.

You cannot be serious. Yeah, it was sort of stupid, but he was fired up. Barrett grabbed him and slugged him. I lost a lot of respect for Barrett.

So the unsportsmanlike conduct by AJ means nothing to you?

Yet you still have respect for AJ, right?

Did he slug a player in the face?

Also, how does AJ know the ball is not even close?

I don't think it was right, but saying he deserved it is laughable.

I can't believe I can't see any of this.

Please tell me Zambrano is tossing the Sox around like ragdolls and eating the hearts of many men.

AJP has had a punch to his face coming probably since birth.

That was so awesome. AJ's collision was completely unnecessary and as a catcher he should know better. Barrett just became my favorite player and I hate the Sox more than ever now. Yeah Barrett is gonna miss some time but this team is going nowhere and it was worth it.

There is a difference between being a bad sportsman and punching someone in the face.

Besides the fact that AJ is a complete clown, and deserves a few more of those, he deffinately was out of line. If you played for the Cubs right now, you would be very fusterated too.

What AJ did was in poor taste, but it wasn't dirty. There's really no comparison to what Barrett did.

Saw the replay on Fox and AJ was an ass about it. Barrett got a great shot to the head after AJ slapped home plate but then several White Sox jumped on Barrett.

I've said they need something like this to happen 2 weeks ago. This might be the only thing that will get this team FIRED UP!!!

So Barrett's just supposed to sit back and take AJ's antics? He could have been seriously injured for no reason at all. I'd take exception to it as well. Its a guy's career he's messing around with there.

Anyone who doesn't think that AJ running over Barrett was clean is really letting their fandom getting in the way of what they know about baseball.

That was as clean as any catcher being run over that I have ever seen.

AJ was ok going in to the plate. He didnt need to raise his elbow to barrett jaw. Barrett was right on knocking him in the face. AJ can pump up all the crowd he wants AFTER its over. But he didnt do anything when it happened.
