The lead runner is out, the umps are just to chicken sh!t to call anything for the cubs.

FWIW, the Buc announcers speculated the ump was thinking that because he fielded the ball in the basepath, Wilson had to go around him.

On another note, why didn't Ramrirez check the runner????

Oh, we're damn lucky this inning!

I don't blame the umps. Make sure you get the damn tag Aramis!

No. If he goes to get Wilson, he doesn't get the runner at 2nd. It should have been a DP. The umps just blew it.

That blown call better not come back to bite us.

i'm not going to blame that. Rather our pathetic offense with a bases loaded no out situation and failing to score one run out of that.

Better one than none.

Meanwhile, the strike zone continues to elude young Sean.

Grounder makes it 1-1. :x

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo pissed off!!!

How can that be an earned run on Marshall?

1. Ramirez defense = really bad this inning.

2. The umpire completely missed that call about the baserunner.

This inning should be over.

Shouldn't matter, the fielder has the right to be in the basepath to field the ball, and even if that happens the runner doesn't have the right to leave the basepath.

They looked up the rule here and justified this.

I don't expect a whole lot out of Mabry and Marshall with the bases loaded.

Losing a shutout and the lead on a blown call makes me mad.

He had already fielded it and was going to apply the tag, therefore, he was out. I hope we beat up on Santos next inning
