how was that ball not just absorbed into the fat?

I wonder how that would be ruled? Would be like at Wrigley when the ball goes into the ivy?

Well since Ponson would technicly be in possesion of the ball but unable to throw out the runner, the runner would basicly be able to get an inside the park HR.

unless ponson somehow manages to chase downt he runner and bodyslam them, tagging the runner out with his fat rolls

I went too far with that one............

No its not just a Cubs fan talking, he is a great player but everyone just kisses his ass, and it gets old.

With all due respect, I don't want you GMing my team if you can't tell the difference between a great player and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Glendon is looking rather good today.

Is it his soulful but squinty eyes, his impish smile, or his ample belly?

 :? :o  8)

I fully expect you to change your name to ManCrushOnGlendon. 8)

If he pitches like he has so far over the course of the season, I'll start a fanclub :)

How can people boo that call?

They could've been booing Encarnacion.

They booed him too, but they were on the 1st base ump for ringing him on a check with the barrel in front of his body.

Pat: I think there should be a comma between "So" and "Taguchi". You know, like "So, Taguchi." You know, tell me about yourself.
