Pujols is a great player without a doubt but what does annoy me is that way everyone kisses his butt all the time I mean the guy does make outs, he's not freaking Superman for crying out loud.

Well, he's not a jerk like Bonds or Sheffield, etc. He's not a recluse like McGwire was.

He seems like a good guy off the field.

It's hard not to like him.

I'm a cubs fan. I have no problem not liking him

I'll take Lee in a heartbeat.........healthy of course.

how was that ball not just absorbed into the fat?

I wonder how that would be ruled? Would be like at Wrigley when the ball goes into the ivy?

Two different situations - there can be ground rules for a park, but not a player.

I'd rule it a homerun.

That's a Cubs fan talking.

Pujols is a once in a generation type of player. If he doesn't have a catastrophic injury, by the time he is done he will be mentioned among the greatest hitters to ever play.

He hasn't even reached his prime yet.

Well since Ponson would technicly be in possesion of the ball but unable to throw out the runner, the runner would basicly be able to get an inside the park HR.
