Peter Gammons was just on WEEI and the possible sale of the Flubs came up.

 

Gammons claims that the Wirtz Family is interested in buying the Cubs and Wrigley and wants to sell the Blackhawks and their 50% of the United Center to JR and the Bulls.

Please no!!! Even though it would actually make the Hawks good, the Cubs would go 98 Marlins on the trade market and we would return to seeing teams like the 90's ones.

Hopefully, his reputation will procede him. Wirtz's ownership of the Blackhawks will only hurt his chances of gaining approval from MLB. He is nationally perceived as one of the worst owners in sport.
