So far, 4IP, 4H, 2R, 1 BB, 3K.

He's still pitching in the fifth and if he finishes it will be in line for the win.

Wow...that's surprising. We'd have been better off keeping Koronka and trading Rusch to the Rangers.

I don't care how good he does with them, hes just not going to be good enough to make me mad that we traded him.

Me either....but so far, he looks better than Rusch.

I don't know what your curve looks like but I betcha if you spot start for Rusch you will end up with better number than good 'ol Glendon! :)

Well, just about anybody could have looked better than Rusch so far.

Hell, I look better than Rusch.

Of course, I've shed 50 pounds since you saw me last July.

While I'm hugely dissapointed in Rusch this season, and think that posting examples of other superstars waaaaaaaaaaaaay underperforming won't make him magically turn around at the same time and to the same extent they do, it goes to show that other people can be slow starters. While I'd stick with Smoltz, Hudson, and Santana in my rotation, I don't have patience with Rusch because his upside is so much more limited than theirs. He shouldn't be there, but right now, aside from unknowns, he *is* iall that's available thanks to injuries. Come back soon, at 110%, Wood, Prior, and Miller. Please. My eyes and stomach beg you.

That first line.... well that's Koronka's first game in TX. That's not much better than Rusch. To quote an old saying that goes well with Koronka's game; "even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes."

Anyone, Koronka, Rusch, whoever, is capable of reeling off a good game every now and then. I personally wouldn't want either of them in my rotation if I had a choice.

No way Texas takes Rusch in the deal. Koronka had a good spring. But, Rusch had a spirng where he pitched like... Rusch.

Koronka also had a great winter too, which may have helped garner interest in him.
