I'm glad to see some of the younger minor league players off to good starts. I was critical of reported rumors that Gallagher was headed to AA instead of Daytona, but obviously pleased when those rumors turned out to be false. It's also good to see Dylan doing well, despite being one of the younger players in the MWL.

Even though Reed has a rough time since being drafted, his early start is encouraging as well.

Walker and Eric P with singles in the 1st for the Jaxx. Montanez was HBP, then as flames noted, no runs scored. Had bases loaded and none out. Hoffpauir K'd, Lewis GIDP'd.

Patterson with a bunt single and also stole 2nd, BTW.

Pretty impressive numbers by the pitchers!

Marmol's no hit bid is done, but he got the next batter to induce into a 5-4-3 DP and then struck out the next batter. 8 K's, 1 hit, 1 walk through 5 for Marmol. No score after 5.

If you kids want to listen to old-time radio, listen to the internet broadcast.. http://www.wnws.com

I am broadcasting the game with a crowd mic.. fun stuff.. just got it to work in the bottom of the 1st inning.

Ugh, I forgot to click the different link. I've been listening to WNWS all this time :(

Thanks so much for the updates. Can't listen, but it's sure fun to read some of the threads, gives a feel for the games and the development. Obviously especially fun when a guy like Marmol is able to back up his strong opener with another dominant game.

So, two games, 6 innings each game, no runs each game, 1 hit each game, 2 walks each game! Seems like a pretty nice pattern. 6 K's first game, 8 K's this time. Heh, that could make for a nice consistency pattern.

Lincoln Holdzkom in to pitch for the Jaxx in the bottom of the 7th.

and it's 1-0 Tenn as he allows an RBI single. He's allowed all 3 to reach and there is still no outs :(

Holdzkom now hurt as he dove on a bunt that was popped up. They get the force at 2nd, but runners at the corners with only 1 out still. Holdzkom being taken out of the game.
