They were interviewing Ryan and asked them for a funny story. He metntioned a time when Jennifer Aniston went into the Cub locker room. Dempster said by the way, she is even more attractive in real life. Anyway, she is wearing a Wood teeshirt and Wood is getting his chest all big and thinking he's the man until someone says "So you have a Kerry Wood shirt on?" and she says..."So that's who that is." Wood then shrank about 5 sizes after that.

Dempster's a funny man.

 

And becoming a good fan favorate. I remember we used to call him "Dumpster" awhile back before he converted to a reliever/closer, and he has done a fine job. I still love the part where he was making fun of Buck and McCarver on FOX at St. Louis last year, along with the Cardinal fans. That was classic.

I think Dempster should automatically be made into a coach for the Cubs once his career comes to an end, just so we get more stories.

I'm pretty sure that's why Larry Walker is a bullpen coach for the Cardinals.

Considering the fact he's Canadian, but dressed up as "Captain AMERICA" at the least hallloween, I would say so.

Yes, in fact there was an article on him in Sports Illustrated in the SI Players section lst year. It was about how he likes to joke around and would like to be a stand up comedian. A member on the board once had the pic from that article in their profile for awhile.

I think the real humor in this story is how guys love Jennifer Aniston and she's barely average looking.

Can you imagine Dempster as a color commentator? Maybe he should take Brenly's place when he retires if he's a good analyst too.

 

Well... we have gotten previews of his commentary skills. A few games on Fox gave us his Harry impressions... so, he could be good.
