If there's one positive out of this, it's nice to see Williams not sucking.

Especially since he'll be starting for Rusch next game.

Williams is joining the rotation in the 5th spot on April 15th. We're still stuck with Rusch, who's scheduled to go again on the 16th.

Please hurry back, Wood and Prior.

What do you think the odds are that Guzman gets the call up to pitch for Rusch?

OBP down to .259.

speed kills.

speed doesn't slump

he'll always be the fastest back to the dugout after groundouts

I'm hoping for a callup for the Rusch spot...but I'm probably going to be disappointed.

About zero. Angel has only had one start and despite pitching effectively, he was anything but efficient in the first two innings. I'm guessing Hill is more likely for now, but I don't see any changes in the immediate future.

Simply pahetic. Cedeno and Mabry must have taken lessons from last year's Cubs. You don't swing at the first pitch unless it's a pitch you can mash. You shouldn't swing at the first pitch just to be swinging at the first pitch.
