I just got off of work and was all excited about finally having some cubs baseball to come home to, but one glance at the line score quickly deflated that.

 

Are there any bright spots to take frmo the game so far, or does Glendon's pitcihng line and the row of goose eggs next to the Cubs in the line score tell me all I need to know?

I'm really sick of the Cubs consistently losing to the Reds and Brewers. I wish they could play as well against these teams as they do against the Cardinals. Oh well, get em tomorrow Cubs.

5 solo homers and a grand slam for the Reds. One of the solos is by Arroyo. Jaque left with a strained hammy. The Cubs aren't hitting. That pretty much sums it up.

Those come from behind wins against the Cards weak bullpen are even sweeter right now. Just imagine if the Cards pen had held the leads, the Cubs would be facing a 1-3 home start and 2-4 overall record after this fiasco!
