Wow, great start.

 

Biggest thing I saw was pretty much everyone in the lineup took a few pitches there and battled.

TOP OF THE FIRST INNING

 

Pierre tripled down the right field line

Walker doubled down the left field line, Pierre scored

Lee walked

Ramirez singled to left center field, Walker to third, Lee to second

Jones hit a sacrifice fly to left field, safe at first on a fielding error, E7, Walker scored, Lee to third, Ramirez to second

Barrett lined into a DP, 5-4, Ramirez doubled off second

Murton homered to right center field, Lee & Jones scoreed

Cedeno popped out to second base

 

5 runs, 4 hits, 1 errors, 0 men left on base

For those of you listening to the Cincy broadcast feed.

 

Now that it's between innings, I have to bring it up. What in the world were they talking about when they referred to waiting for the 2nd inning to find out if it's a gangster or a gangsta?
