How will these two studs from last year (their career years) fare this year?

Please post the line you expect.

wow step out on that limb....

lee's power dips a bit(shoulder) but his obp and RBI's go up

carp...cant see him getting better, or even repeating, he wont be the "meh" guy he was in toronto, but he'll win more thanhe loses with an ERA in the low 4's

ERA in the low 4's, yep, you're right. You do recall he had a 3.5 ERA the year before?

My predictions:

Lee .295 .385 .550

Carpenter 3.25 ERA 1.2 WHIP .255 BAA

I have no idea, but if I was going to make a guess I'd say:

Carp: 18-5, 3.20 era, 1.20 whip. I think he'll be in position to win as many games as last year, but the bullpen will blow a few more of them than in '05.

D-Lee; .305, .390, .560, 40 homeruns, and more RBI's than last year.

Kool-Aid:

Lee: .325 AVG, .420 OBP, .600 SLG, 60 HR

Carp: 0-5, 8.99 ERA

hahaha...

Lee: .300, .395, .550, 40HR

Carp: 19-7, 3.50ERA (The Cards offense will pick him up for a lot of his wins)

Carpenter: 8-12, 4.75 ERA.

Lee: .375, 45HR 125RBI.

Lee wins MVP. Carpenter suffers career-ending injury.

This is a Cubs board. What did you expect?

Lee: .303/.417/.588 37HR/111 RBI

Carpenter: 19-9, 3.07 ERA, 1.19 WHIP

Take it for what it's worth. It's not like I won the predictions contest last year or anything.

Are you seriously making Daryl Kyle jokes?

I'd like to think mine was a Ponson joke, but it was certainly riffed off of IMB's Kile joke. Sorry if I offended.
