The officiating has been terrible on both sides. I am not even paying attention the whole time and I am seeing many, many shots that are put up with hard contact but no call. Shelden Williams in particular is getting away with a lot.

Duke currently holding a 21-10 foul advantage. That's not even counting the missed calls.

Yeah, they need to get settled down on offense. Also better rebounding would be nice as well.

 

But Tennessee isn't any better either. Shooting at 26.3% from the field.

I posted in the other thread because it was talking about mid-majors, but the announcer for the Florida-UWMil game just said something like, "Lets take a look at how the major conferences did in the first round," and the MVC was included in the graphic...

As was any conference that had 4 or more bids. Makes sense, doesn't it? For at least this year, the MVC is definitely a "big" conference.

I guess. I always think of a "Big Conference" as in ACC, Big XII, Big 10, etc.

It's freaking horrendous officiating. Just terrible.
