I'm not sure if Dope was ever in to begin the game. Perhaps he was misidentified as being in to start or else he's being misidentified as being in now.

Grissom singled to left field

Jones singled to right center field, Grissom to third

Perez popped out to third base

Walker flied out to left field, Grissom scored, Jones holding first

Anderson lined a single to left field, Jones to second

Pierre lined out to center field

 

1 runs, 3 hits, 0 errors, 2 men left on base

 

 

 

TOP OF THE THIRD INNING

 

Mateo in to pitch for Seattle

Cedeno popped out to second base

Ramirez homered to left field

Sing homered to left field

Grissom flied out to center field

Jones singled to right field

Perez singled to center field, Jones to third

Walker doubled to right field, Jones and Perez scored

Anderson blooped a single to left field, Walker scored

Pierre struck out swinging

Maybe Jones is really determined to rebound, maybe he really CAN do it. Time will tell. But I'm keeping an eye on this guy.

Wow...just checking in and discover Sing has hit two homeruns. Maybe there's the right handed power bat for the bench I was looking for all offseason.

 

At most Sing is a longshot to fulfill that role for now as he would need to have a mammoth spring. How many teams would we see kicking themselves if he were to make our opening roster considering what transpired during Rule 5.

Nice to see Jones getting hits off of leftys, even if it is just ST. Sing doing good things as well.

 

Welley is done, though. Too bad.
