The Spring Training season will kick off with Zambrano facing off against the Oakland A's. The game will be on WGN radio and also carried on XM 188 as well as MLB.com.

This will be the first and final game for Zambrano, Lee, Barrett, and Blanco before they depart to join their respective WBC teams.

I'm ready for baseball, and it is now time. Here's to a great spring, a great regular season, and a great post season. :pint:

I sense that this semester I will be perpetrating the college version of sneaking a radio into class; listening to Gameday Audio on my laptop while sitting in a lecture. All part of being a Cubs fan. :D

Is anyone else garunteed to pitch for the Cubs other than Z?

Anyone other than Harden on the A's?

I probably wont be on the computer until tomorrow, so if anyone knows and wans to fill them in, go ahead.

RETURN OF THE MATCH-UPS!!

Noteworthy Match-ups (Oakland Athletics) Vs. Carlos Zambrano

Noteworthy Match-ups (Chicago Cubs) Vs. Rich Harden

Predictions Based on Match-ups: Cubs have had some success against Haren in only 28 ABs. He's also allowed more RBIs, doubles, and home runs against the Cubs in 28 ABs than Z's allowed in 71 ABs against the A's. Thanks to Haren pitching, my prediction has changed. Cubs win!
