I'm glad that wore out on me, the glamour of trying to deal w/all the BS to get as many as possible doesn't make much sense anymore.

 

Sad, but I don't enjoy trying to get to Wrigley as much as possible. I'm usually burnt out of going to games by May.

i agree. i mean, i like going, but it's not always worth the hassle, money, parking, travel, trying to get tickets, etc. it especially seems that way when i see games in such a relaxed atmosphere in ST and des moines.

If I was still in the area, I would just browse Ebay. Heck, I got a $24 ticket in a great seat for Game 1 of the imfamous Cubs/Cards DH a couple years ago. I went to games on Fridays for a month or two, buying tickets on Ebay 2 weeks before the game.

I will have attended aome 40 or so HS games by May 1st, driving 90 minutes and all the hassle isn't worth it much of the time. If I go to a game I'll scalp or buy the day before a game.
