as much as i hate mgmt for what not putting together a better team, this makes it all melt, melt, melt.

zambrano is going to have the greatest season of any pitcher ever! lol.

That's exactly how I feel. I couldn't help but put up the "W" flag in my room yesterday. I wanted to punch myself for doing it, though.

bad juju, very bad juju.

I'm pretty sure this just proves that Carlos Zambrano is not only the greatest pitcher of all time, but in fact, He is the greatest human being to ever live.

Welcome to the board!

What game is that avatar from?

Thanks for the welcome. It was September 27th, 2004, a victory over the Reds and the last bit of joy we experienced before the disaster that was the final week of that season.

Can't help but rally behind these guys, what with the "oops, we spaced the offense man!" surprise management has coming up. Hell, they better practice batting a little more...

But hey, I'm an optimist, maybe Jacque will come into camp early looking buff, and doing whatever Mr. Gwynn tells him to do

Jones is in camp, so he did show early but nothing there about him being any more buff than usual. Guess we will have to wait and see how much of Gwynn's advice rubed off on him.

Jones, a friend and former Twins teammate of LaTroy Hawkins, recently got some advice from the sphinx-like reliever on how to handle the Chicago media.

Uh Oh. .

So Latoya's advice was something like this:

"it's simple, how to handle the Chicago media, just don't talk to them"

...Hawkins told Jones he will like it in Chicago... "He just told me to be who I am, do what I do and go out and play and have fun. So that's what I'm going to do."

Looks harmless to me.

 I know. It's just when I first read that, I was thinking. "Oh no, now he's got bad thoughts in his head, he's gonna hate us now, Gee, Thanks Latroy!!"

wasn't tim buss jordan's personal trainer?

That would be Tim Grover... My buddy actually had a summer job at Hoops the Gym a couple years ago and picked up a lot of advice from him.

Check out the picture of Ponson from the Cardinals' camp. I don't think his fitness program is working.

Did he just eat Reyes to win the spot in the rotation by default?

So wrong, but so funny...

Carlos' shoulders look a lot smaller...he really doesn't look like himself at all.

HE WAS ON STEROIDS!!!!

Actually, I just think he lost alot of weight. He looks ready to kill someone.
