So much for the Bucs. Washington was the better team. I know we already beat the Panthers but I think I would rather go against the Giants.

Same here. I think the Bears match up better vs. the Giants moreso than a rematch vs. Carolina.

Looks like we'll have to watch NYG/Carolina to find the Bears next opponent. I think Urlacher can shut down Barber, especially out of the backfield. I think the Bears can move the ball against the Giants D as well.

That Carolina team will be angry.

Yes. I want the Giants to come to Chicago.

LaVar is a great interviewee.

good for the bears - tampa bay is definitely the better team.

Better than Washington? I don't think so.

Definitely. Tampa Bay was the better team today. Washington was lucky as can be.

TD easy. Possession, two feet, knees down before any sign of losing it.

Because he lost control of the ball before his elbow hit the ground (meaning the ground didn't jar it loose), that suggests he didn't have control of it.

He already had two feet and at least one knee down by that point!

That was an abomination of officiating.

Right, but if the ground didn't cause him to lose control of the ball, how can you be sure he had control of the ball and overturn it?

Because he doesn't start to lose control until after he has two feet down(TD) and at least one knee down(TD). There's no indication he doesn't have control until that point, and I just saw the replay which is exactly what the official is looking at.

120 yards of offense? Thats terrible. simms lost the game with turnovers.

I hate when they interview people with an 8th grade education.

I've never liked Arrington since he knocked down the Pitt punter on punt returns when the play wasn't even near them. He did it 3 or 4 times, what a tough guy he is.

I had a serious dislike for Lavar dating back to his Penn St. days. I remember him taking a cheap shot vs. a punter and I haven't forgotten.

please expound. i don't recall.

I do remember him absolutely mauling people on kick coverage, though.

Edit: Ah, against Pitt! No wonder I loved it!

LaVar graduated from Penn State!

Did he? Oh, well in that case...

I hate it when they inteview people that don't know how to speak.

I didn't like this outcome for the Bears. Washington doesn't look like a team that can beat Seattle, and I was really hoping to see the NFC Championship game here. :?

I mised this post. I mentioned that in my post and I felt the same...he's a punk.

Exactly. What do you expect from a QB with little experience going against a big time defense? Ever since Washington's D has been healthy they have been dominating. Washignton's offense was pretty terrible though.

I remember MNF went to his home and he had a chess room. No joke!

Where was that last ball deflected? I didn't see it and I had a phone call when it happened.

It was a punt return and he leveled the punter, just destoyed him. While the play was now about 20 yds. down the field, he decides to hit the punter who was either still on the ground or just getting up. He looked like a B**** on the play, picking on a punter.

Didn't he leave after his junior year? Did he come back and finish his degree?

Oops. Forgot about that.

Ok, I'm done defending LaVar. he wasn't a great character guy. Still isn't. But he's a hell of a physical specimen.

There's conclusive evidence that he had control, though? I think him losing control of the ball before his arm hit the ground places enough doubt about him having possession to not overturn that call. There wasn't anything indisputable about those replays.

Did he just smile and point at his rooks and say "Look how cool that is!" the whole time?

Great point I didn't think of that.
