Unless he does something awesome in the Illini's last few games, there is no way that Dee Brown should make any higher than 3rd team all big 10 this year.

Down 15-3 and they've tied it up.

And Illinois already has 5 fouls in the second half. I think they had 1 in the entire first half.

Why isn't Vukusic playing tonight? And I agree about Dee, he will probably get the respect because of his name, but he hasn't had a season deserving of those honors with the play of some of the other guards this year.

Come on Badgers, pull this one out.

Back pain. He didn't dress.

Northwestern falls behind by 13 but they go on a 14-6 run to get back to 3. They're already in the bonus and incredibly enough, they're 7 for 7 from the line.

Penn State leads IU by 2 in Happy Valley with 4 minutes to play.

Wisconsin and OSU nearly knotted up in C-Bus

EDIT: my bad, Wisky-OSU is at Kohl

you have problems with that, don't you? :D

That's what I get for guessing based on uniforms after a brief glance at two teams who are both red and white. Looks like Wisconsin holds on and Penn State will win pending FTs.

I'm curious to see what it would take for Penn State to get an NIT bid. It's a total guess now that the NCAA controls the NIT this year, but the Nittany Lions are 12-11 (4-8) with 4 games left (@ Purdue, @ Indiana, Northwestern and @ Iowa). If they win 3 of 4 (finishing 15-12, 7-9) would that get them in? Would they still have to win a 1st round Big Ten Tourney game?

HA! IU's not even a tourney team right now. They are on their way to watching the NIT too.

Mike Davis pretty much communicated his fate on Dan Patrick's show today.

What a terrible team.

So is Indiana a tournament team anymore? 13-9 with At Illinois, at Michigan, and MSU at home left on the schedule. Even stealing one of those games only puts them at 16-11 heading into the Big 10 tourney.

Pretty much any winning record from a Big Ten team would get them in the NIT.

Wow -- seems strange that only Seth Davis is reporting this. Just checked some other sites and no one else has picked up the story. If Davis is really resigning, who do the Hoosiers target for head coach?

They just broke in on ESPN and said an ESPN.com source(Katz? wasn't paying close attention) said Davis resigned.

Steve Alford and Randy Wittman will be immediate candidates.

Dan Dakich was the heir apparent for a long time and still would likely get a long look.

Jim Crews at Army is another "in house" guy, with Keith Smart being an in house dark horse.

I'd like to see IU expand and talk to Few of the 'Zags.

And, I have one source close to a trustee that says Larry Brown may have interest and that the trustees definitely would. I don't think there is anything of substance to it, but that information was related to me before this story broke.

I don't see Few ever leaving Gonzaga.

He seems very loyal to his alma mater.

Katz elaborated in his blog to the same extent, that it's very unlikely that Few leaves Gonzaga, and Calipari too with Memphis(although that was in reference to the Mizzou job, so who knows with a more prestigious job)

I'm sure it would be difficult to pry him away, but it doesn't mean IU doesn't sniff around. Few would be crazy not to at least listen to people about jumping to a program as storied as IU. I'm sure John Stockton will do everything in his power to keep Few at Gonzaga.
