There seems to be a cascading effect at work here that I need to figure out. Once the server gets locked into a pattern of slow response, it just won't come back to normal without a reboot, which is what I had to do just now.

I've left search enabled for premium for now, but I've also set it so that it is currently not indexing posts for non-premium users. More work for the weekend. Oh well, I'm going to be on the road again this weekend, anyway.

Search is enabled but it doesn't seem to be working properly. No matter what words you put in the search field it never finds a topic containing them.

Yeah, when the site went down the other day, I truncated the search words table as it still seemed to be causing issues when I got the site back up. I'm planning on addressing it this weekend.
