Anyone think he isnt gonna come back?

I think he's out of MLB in 2006 unless he's willing to take a serious cut in pay.

Royals, they have a history of signing over the hill former superstars. I hope Sammy doesn't mind taking a huge pay cut. I'm thinking he makes less than $2 million next year.

If he stays healthy for 120 games next year that will be amazing. Those steroids have a way of catching up to you.

Cards, where he will no only reach the 600HR pleatue, but go on to beat Hank Aaron's record in the next thee years.

Not funny, man. Seriously, not funny....

I'm guessing he signs with the Yanks to a $1 or $2 mil contract as a 4th OFer.

Everyone keeps saying the Rockies, but I don't see the match... Colorado's three everyday outfielders (Hawpe, Holliday, and Sullivan) are all better options than Sammy. And will Sammy really accept a bench role for a team that probably wont contend? I doubt it.

That's the only place he has any shot at Aaron (not that I think he has a shot there) was my only point. I can't imagine why the Rockies would sign him except in desperation to draw some fans maybe.
