  1. Really? Gratton had a good start but this was pretty dam even... For those of you who didn't see it. I watched that fight and homerism aside, I'm sorry truffle, Adams did not lose that fight. So I agree with Cynosure that fight was clearly a draw. I know there are a few Flyers fans who believe Gratton won that fight, but I would disagree. The only thing I could see leading to the Flyers fans POV is that perhaps Gratton landed more punches, but that is countered with the fight that Adams never went down and there was some great shots by Gratton. All in all, that fight is as 50/50 draw.
  2. Which is why I am a proponent of letting go of several players that have been with the Bulls since that time, including Hinrich, Noce, Gordon and perhaps even Deng if he can stay healthy and play well enough to increase his value..
  3. Well considering the Yanks still have Matsui/Cabrera/Nady/Damon in the OF, there is no guarantee Swisher will even be with the Yankees next year.
  4. http://chicagocubsonline.com/archives/2008/12/rumorsnews1224.php#more I doubt the Angels are interested in Bradley. I mean the Angels GM has emphatically said his team wouldn't signed Manny Ramirez, and his team just re-signed Juan Rivera, and the GM apparently likes his team's OF depth. So I kinda doubt Milton Bradley will end up with the Angels.
  5. Packers last drive: 14 plays 91 yrds 7 points Bears entire game 11 plays 28 yrds 0 points. Something needs to change NOW, Lovie. Edit: This was posted before the kick return.
  6. How the frak do you not see a fake punt there?
  7. we're hosed now boyz. I didn't say guarantee.
  8. I'm going to say it, the Bears will play their most complete game of the yr, and beat the Pack comfortably.....28-14.
  9. It wouldn't surprise me if the Angels sign both Dunn and Fuentes.
  10. Mike Shula is a good man and all, but like most Bama fans we will never forget/forgive Mike for leaving Pro in the game during the blowout victory over the Gators. Pro was the precursor to Devin Hester and DeSean Jackson, and would have been a really good player in the NFL. But at least Pro had that one ridiculous catch against Southern Miss, in which IMO was the best catch I ever saw. I hope DeAndre Brown eventually be able to play again, but with my experience with Prothro this doesn't look good for the incredibly talent DeAndre Brown. Damn......he was going to be a really good one.
  11. How big and stupid are those losses to the NFC South earlier this yr?
  12. Five Blackhawks seems like a ton to me. I could almost see Toews or Keith being snubbed unfairly. If I have to choose, Keith goes before Toews. And it's not even close. I really don't think Campbell has been all that great, but I think he'll make it. I disagree. I think Campbell has been really, really good. Campbell is clearly a top 5 scoring defensemen, and he's playing like on. As for Toews, as much as he is an incredible talent, there is no way he should make the All Star team. He isn't even in the Top 50 in points in the NHL. Toews making the AS Game won't be a disservice, but I would disagree with his election. At best, my guess would be three Blackhawks make the AS Team: Kane, Keith and Campbell. Make no mistakes both Sharp and Habby can both make cases for the All Star team, but ultimately, I don't see 5 Hawks going to the AS Game.
  13. Pessimistic, ain't we? Ceiling: Mike Lowell Floor: Edwin Encarnacion
  14. i'm not sure the market is all that hot on dunn. is 3 years 36 million completely out of the question? The question would be if Dunn is willing to take a similar deal to what Jose Guillen signed?
  15. No, but I am done with the Hawks kicking the Flames butt up and down the ice, tho.
  16. Yeah, it's a special kind of crap that Pete won't let a kid transfer to a school he wants to go to, nm said kid would still have to sit out a yr before he can play. It's not as if California produces top quality prospect on a yearly basis  , that he could replace this Vidal kid.
  17. Nobody deserves that kind of money, even if they rescue a burning school bus full of orphans. However, its not about deserving, its about supply and demand, and if teams are willing to pay that much money, players are going to demand it. I'm sorry but I disagree. Everybody deserves that kind of money. And if you had the opportunity for that "kind of money" you would do go for it.
  18. Plus Rose has been struggling lately, and the Bulls are 3-10 on the road this year (9-3 at home). This is going to be a slaughter. We already don't match up well with this team to begin with. Celtics 102 Bulls 78 Good pick on the score...I see like a 40-10 or something in the first half Thiis game will be the one game nobody expects the Bulls to win, and they win. Can't explain, but I think the C's come out flat, and the Bulls win at the buzzer.
  19. And the Hawks lost to the Sharks and the Red Wings. So it goes to show that a broken watch is right twice a day, it doesn't mean the Hawks suck worse then the Kings, is that LA pull one out of their butts. That is all.
  20. Please, tell me your being sarcastic. Cause if you are then that's a relief. But if you are not then let me remind you, it is not the Blackhawks job to stop scoring, it was the job of the Oilers to stop the Blackhawks from scoring. By the looks of it, they were piss poor at it. These are not little leaguers, there egos are not going to take a hit from a butt-whoooping, so you need to stop making excuses for the Oilers sucking tonight. BTW, I really do hope you are being sarcastic.
  21. It COULD be, but signing Furcal doesn't mean they'll call up SD and see about Peavy.
  22. Which means the Braves will either re-open talks with the Padres for Peavy with Escobar as the chip, or the Braves will strongly consider the Kelly Johnson for Ryan Ludwick deal.
  23. At least the Cubs didn't give up three young pitchers for him. The Cubs have that going for them.
