  1. You guys are welcome. :P My brother Robert, was actually Shawshank, by the way. I'm glad I can be the butt of your jokes. :bye: I do have to go for awhile, business related, hence the reason I bringing an end to the "ultimate homer" routine schtick. But here's to everybody keep laughing at the self-proclaimed coourt jester.
  2. Think Dwayne Wade....but take it a notch.
  3. I saw that thread, but who knows with KC.
  4. Yeah, pass on Lee. I saw it on another board, but apparently KC Johnson has denied saying it. Who knows tho, as KC is the mouthpiece of the Bulls.
  5. Apparently KC Johnson was on WSCR and said the Bulls were close to acquiring Courtney Lee from the Nets.
  6. They do need help, regardless of their talent. All three can't play 48 minutes a game for 82 games a year. I'm not sure that Luol Deng is worse than LeBron James. Sure LeBron is probably better, but that's all I'll admit. jackass.
  7. Considering the real story about how Fisher left Utah, Fisher would fit with the other liars, creeps, and jerks in Miami.

  9. Which is why I am not scared of their depth.
  10. Of the complimentary players Miami are signing or trying to sign, the only one that is any good is Mike Miller. Fisher and Howard are "just bodies" at this point their career. So I'm not worried about the Heat depth. Udonis Haslem is hardly "just a body". I didn't say Haslem, either. I mention only Fisher and Howard as being "just a body."

  12. I would find this so friggin hilarious if Miami do sign Howard.
  13. I have no idea. They're apparently still trying to sort out who did the fighting and who was just there. It's a mess, but I've liked Dooley's handling of it so far. I agree. I really do like Dooley and his handling of the situation. Man, what a crappy offseason for Tennessee. Here's to Dooley riding out the storm.
  14. Nobody thought, including Marcin, that Orlando would Gortat's offer sheet and they did. I know he has a cheaper contract, but still the possibility is there. Personally I think the Magic are going to use all 7 days and try and make the Bulls sweat. Difference though, the Bulls don't have to sit around and wait for this situation to clear up. The Bulls still have some money that is not tied into Redick to continue shopping for players.
  15. What the hell is going on in Tennessee? 10 UT Vol players where involved in a bar brawl in which one off duty cop who was working as a bouncer, was knocked out and severely beaten, and a couple other bouncers injuried. Darren Myles has already been kicked off the team. Greg King and another player suspended indefintately. I think Janzen Jackson is invloved. Hey dew, what the hell is going on up with your boys?
  16. That's only if the Deng/Iggy trade is legit and/or gets done. ---------- Interesting development on JJ Reddick. Having him and Korver sitting at the 3 point line is going to be a breathe of fresh air for Rose. As for Brad Miller...I'm not surprise. I wish he would come back, but I can't blame if he does go to Miami.
  17. They are using Obama's federal budget theory: buy now, figure out how to pay later. So this unholy alliance is unlikely to live out their contracts with the Heat. Good to know.
  18. Since those two first rd picks are likey to be in the late 20s at the earliest, the Cavs traded James for essentially 4 second rd picks. Cool.
  19. Yet the stats don't say he is worse then Williams....Hmmmm I've moved on now. Let's get back to hating Miami.
  20. The Miami Tool Machine really are going to play up the villiany, aren't they? Good god, I hate them so much that Kobe and Rondo are no longer on my crap list.
  21. 1: I will only admit that Rose is a step behind and he's closing the gap, FAST. I'll leave at that. 2: Same here. 3: I take Iggy over Deng even if means losing Gibson. But the only pause to that deal is that I don't want either Kapano or Green.
  22. I will only admit to him being a step or two behind Williams, not that he is a worse point guard.
  23. I've said Rose was a step behind Williams (so I agree he isn't in Williams group, but I do disagree that you have Williams over Paul, I think it is the other way around, but that's just semantics), but a couple of people are saying he's a "worse point guard" then Williams, when that isn't even true.
  24. I threw Rondo up there as a jab at SSR. And no he isn't. He's a step behind, but not a worse point guard. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=1&p1=rosede01&y1=2010&p2=willide01&y2=2010 He's a step behind and still developing big difference than being a "worse point guard."
  25. In some ways that is a valid comparasion, but the biggest different is Iggy is an athlete who can slash to the basket, whereas Deng is basically a spot up shooter (hence that during his stay in Chicago there had been off and on talks about moving Deng to PF). But Iggy is a better rebounder (200 more rebounds), a better passer (1300 and change more assists), quick hands (450 more steals) in their careers which both started in 2004, so no I don't see it as a lateral move, but an improvement. The Heat have load on athletes, and the Bulls have to match that upgrade in athlethicism to have a chance. So yeah, I think Iggy is an improvement over Deng.
