Until MSU plays Wisconsin-Green Bay? It'll be more of a contest than Illinois-Mizzou.

IU with 6 straight 3's on 6 straight possessions, by 4 different players. Then DJ White makes his return with a rebound put-back. It's on!

its not "on" until January 5.

However, as a Mizzou student, it's "on" in about 45 hours.

This really is a no-lose situation from my perspective. Mizzou wins, pandemonium. Mizzou loses by a couple, we kept it close, and U of I looks bad because they can't convincingly beat a team that Sam Houston State knocked off. U of I blows them out, that's what should happen, Mizzou is a mid-major.

So yeah, Stanford is below .500 two weeks after Arizona was. And Stanford's losses were to the likes of UCI, UCD, Montana and Virginia Tech. Looks like it will be a two team conference between U-Dub and UCLA. I think Cal (as long as Powe remains healthy) and Arizona will battle for third place in the Pac-10.

By the way, at USC's last home game, there were 2 people in the student section.

In all seriousness, the only chance they have of getting back in the game is if Gardner takes every shot the rest of the game and he goes nuts. They aren't giving up a ton of points, especially against a top 10 team, but a point a minute isn't gonna cut it.

I had no idea that the Braggin Rights game was tonight... the score doesn't surprise me.

Does Missouri still have a team?

We're a volleyball school now.

And James Augustine has never set a legal screen in his life. Some of the time I don't know how he gets away with it.

Very impressed with the Illini. I think this team could gel even further and become one of the elite teams in college bball this year, a possible 1 or 2 seed.

I wish Holy Cross would stop teasing me. At least Bucknell is representing the Patriot league with some umph.

They should take out Kansas again this year. :D

That was something huh? This year they beat Cuse at Cuse. Tonight they beat St. Joes. I'm really really impressed.

kansas won't be there to be beaten. we'll see about the illini 1/5. they seem to be getting better though.

btw, that braggin rights game was quite enjoyable.

Welcome to the same plane as powerhouses Sam Houston State and Davidson. I can't wait til next year when we actually have a coach with an offense.

Did they beat Mizzou by 32? Cause that would make me think Quinn is an even worse coach than I already did (didn't think that was possible).

No. If you add the margins of Mizzou's previous 3 losses, it comes to less than half of the margin tonight.

mckinney leaves mizzou without a braggin' rights victory, boy, am i glad he didn't commit to the illini.

anyway, augie and dee looked amazing, randle was all over but made some odd decisions at times, mcbride showed some handles, finally, and smith impressed everyone with his range. arnold played well, too. great win for the illini. pruitt played horribly, though.

did anyone catch raftery's IB shoutout? "Brumby diggin' it in Champaign"?

maybe Tim can get a daily NSBB shoutout from Len.

Yeah that was pretty sweet. Pruitt just looks lost sometimes. Randle was solid sans his passing early. I mean he missed some shots, but he isn;t a shooter. McKinney is great. They are still better than illinois and he is still better than dee, just ask him. We are gonna roll on MSU we play this thing called defense and even Izzo will admit if the Spartans don;t start playing some they will underacheive all year.
