we should trade for Deron Wiliams. Did anyone else see Alphonso Soriano in the crowd tonight? I swear he was there and my brother said he thought so too.

Dear Skiles,

please consider starting Deng over Noc soon.

thanks.

Skiles loves having certain guys come off the bench. Deng, Gordon, and last year Chandler.

Reminds me of when Phil Jackson would always start Ron Harper, but Steve Kerr would always end up with more minutes

Kerr was my 2nd-favorite Bull behind MJ, but his pro-Wiz commentary during the playoffs last year, as well as referring to the Argentinian-born Nocioni as a "Euro", annoyed me.

So whats everybodys predictions on the record for this trip? Im hoping for 4-2 but I think a 3-3 will still be a success as well. They have GS, San Antonio, Houston, Lakers, Trailblazers and somebody else that I cant remember off the top of my head. I think GS, Lakers, and Trailblazers are all games the Bulls "should" win along with maybe even Houston since they dont have Tmac right now.

Golden State - Loss

Portland - Win

Seattle - Win

Los Angeles - Loss

San Antonio - Win (5 days off)

Houston - Loss

3-3

Edit: Holy crap I really did just predict the Bulls to win in San Antonio

Anything .500 or better is a success. I don't want to make predictions for the roadtrip (lot harder to do NBA picks because of the game to game fluctuations), but I did pick a Bulls win tonight. Remember we didn't have Du when we beat GS in Chicago.

I'd rather have Othella starting than Songaila. Songaila just isn't very good.

Could this team be the worst team in the division and STILL make the playoffs???

Think about it, outside of the division, the only clearly good teams are Miami, New Jersey, and Washington.

Who else is good enough to take a playoff spot from the Bulls?

It's very possible. Right now the Bulls are in last place in the division and are in the 7th spot in the East.

Once again the Bulls go into the half being down by 13. They can not keep getting down like this to every team they play. Bulls are in foul trouble as well, but lets hope for the typical Bulls 2nd half.
Posted
The refs are the key factor. The Bulls have 19 fouls to the Warriors' 12, which means they're basically blowing the whistle every time the Bulls are on defense.
Posted
Well a pretty pathetic 3rd quarter showing tonight along with GS hitting everything has put the Bulls down by 19 going to the 4th. Not a good way to start out the road trip.
Posted
This is terrible. Bulls winning the battle on the boards but a seven-foul differential and a whole lot of turnovers are keeping them down. Oh yeah and they're shooting 31 percent.

Although the mybulls e-mail says that Songaila is expected to start, SI.com's Truth and Rumors says that it is possible that Darius may be benched in favor of a Deng/Nocioni combo at the 3 and 4.

Projected starters for the Bulls:

Duhon

Hinrich

Deng

Nocioni

Chandler

For the Blazers:

Sebastian Telfair

Sergei Monia

Darius Miles

Zach Randolph

Joel Przybilla

edited to reflect change in the lineup

Sportsnight on Comcast is reporting that Deng will indeed start tonight in place of Songaila. Glad to see this move. Lets hope the Bulls forget about Monday nights pathetic showing and go back to playing Bulls basketball.

Arrgh Skiles is sticking with Songaila starting tonight instead of Deng. Deng really should be starting. Tblazers cant score very well so lets hope the Bulls win this one.

Bulls off to a great start so far. They have taken 2 charges in the first 3 mins of the game and lead 6-0. I think Kirk is goin to have a good night.
