the Sox are cashing in on ALL of the breaks they are getting though. It's amazing how one team can get all of the calls to go their way AND make the other team pay as well.

WOW!!!!!!!

What happened?

Konerko hit a 2 out grand slam.

After Dye was awarded first base with a HBP on what was a foul ball.

Add that to AJP's strikeout in Game 2 and the non-call on Steve Finley's catcher's interference.

Yep. White Sox seem to have everything going for them. Guess we'll be all alone with the our curse and World Series drought now.

I slowed that down to frame by frame on tivo and still couldn't tell. they should have looked for a welt on his arm.

Fox did this super-slow zoom in and it showed it hit the bat and not his arm.

Why didn't they check Dye's undershirt to see if there was any indication that the ball hit?

I would think that if the ball hit Dye on his wrist there, he'd be in a whole lot of pain. Which he wasn't.

That hit the bat, there's no question it hit the bat. How would the ball go down that far of an angle if it didn't hit a rounded object parallel to the ground. McCarver was finally right on something.

no, you couldn't tell. that was just mccarver making crap up. on the replay it could have hit either his arm or the bat. based on his reaction, I am guessing bat.

it could bounce just that way off his arm too. why couldn't it?

it would have hit his forearm and not his bicep. that's just conjecture - only one person knows. had it hit the bat I would have expected ausmus to lose it. they should have checked his arm.

The ball would have hit off his left elbow to take that type of angle and he reaction would not be a pleasent surprise after taking one off the elbow.

That's what I'm thinking.
