ALCS: White Sox Defeat Angels 4-1

That sucked. From the Angels and the umps sucking to having beer thrown at my Cubs hat by a White Sox fan and then hearing him yell racist remarks at my mom and me. At least the security guard sucker punched that idiot.

Is there more details to the punching incident? lol.

Sorry it wasn't a great game. WhiteSox fans are total jerks. I was at the game in May Maddux vs. Garcia at Wrigley, & in the 9th this one Sox fan was chanting really loudly 'Cubs Suck'. This teenager starts telling him to sit down & let us watch the game. So he takes her Cubbie bear claw thing & rips it. Then when security came to take him, he wouldn't move & his wife was literally clinging to his back.

Like I said- jerks.

The idiot got ready to punch an Angels fan who had told him to "shut up" and the usher saw that and stopped him. The Sox fan then tried to punch the usher twice while trying to be held down by him. The usher gave up trying to restrain him after the second punch attempt and just punched him.

Do you blame him though Rais? He's trying to get back in prison and be with his fellow Sox fans again.

Sox fans, Scum of the earth.

The Angels, facing elimination, send out Game 1 winner Paul Byrd (regular season: 12-11, 3.74 ERA; playoffs: 1-0, 5.58 ERA, 9.2 IP). The White Sox counter with their only starter not to throw a complete game this series - Jose Contreras (regular season: 15-7, 3.61 ERA; playoffs: 1-1, 2.81 ERA, 16 IP).

The weather will be a big factor:

Game-time weather- 66°F, 50% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, winds blowing out to LF at 7 mph.

They will probably try their best to get the game in tomorrow since they're expecting heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout Monday.

Ugh, I'm really sorry to hear about night and what your family went through. There's no place for junk like that.

I think the White Sox and their fans are the most classless that I've ever been around.

I don't think I've ever met or encountered a Sox fan in all my travels that wasn't a moron or classless or both.

My stepdad is a huge Sox fan and he avoids both labels.

He's also been embarrassed by some of the behavior of his fellow fans in the past.

To be fair, the guy was very drunk. I hope he wouldn't have been like that if he was sober.

And I have family members who are White Sox fans who are wonderful people - in fact, I'd probably root for the Sox if they get to the Series because I'd love to see them happy.

I hate to sterotype. But in my ballpark travels, I've met a lot of fans. Brave fans seem to be the friendliest.

Usually there are good and bad of all types. However, it seems every Sox fan that I've encountered seems to lack social decorum.

Maybe I should meet the father-in-law so I could no longer make my general statement.
