He hasn't thrown a first pitch strike yet, but of course todd can't do anything but suck.

That would mean that:

a) Someone on the bench had enough insight to recognize mini-Zambrano's wildness, and

b) Actually coach the friggin players for once this season

On a sidenote: One of my real problems with Dusty and his entire coaching staff is that I haven't seen one positive thing they have done this season. No player progression, timely coaching, nothing.

This is the first game I have seen since Monday. Have we looked this bad the whole time?

We looked worse.

Great.....

I don't know....I may be on board with the lose until Dusty gets fired movement. Maybe then we can have some genuine hope for 2006.

Anyone else feel that this team has almost become unwatchable since D-Lee has cooled off? At least we could enjoy one player giving it his all and actually performing on the field. Now, I can't wait for the Bears game tomorrow night.

Barrett is way too lazy for me behind the plate. Now I see why he was moved (position) by Montreal.

Unless Barrett can put up some game breaking type offensive stats, I think he's nothing more than a hinderance to the team.

His defense was pretty good earlier in the year, but he has been lackadasical recently.

Damien Miller wasn't too bad. . . .

I still enjoy watching Zambrano pitch.

Another thing that has bothers me about Barrett is that on any popup around the plate, it takes him way to long to find it. He just stands there looking confused for a couple seconds before he realizes where the ball is.

Sadly, he leads all catchers in RBI (or did a few days ago). So yeah, you're stuck with him.
