Thanks Mr. McGehee for taking our questions.

Congratulations on a big year so far, and continued success.

My question is whatever happened to the catching experiment? You seemed to be a pretty good fit back there from all eyewitness accounts last season.

Mr. McGehee-

I read in the Sun that you talked with Nomar for about 5 minutes about hitting because you think he does many of the things that you do at the plate. What exactly were you referring to? And what did you learn from Nomar?

As a young guy, what is it like to be able to watch big leaguers in person or on WGN? Is it more just motivation and entertainment or can doing that really make an impact on your game?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

To continue the Nomar angle, how was it playing along side your favorite athlete?

Also having playing in the WAC, was Aardsma the toughest pitcher in the WAC you faced?

Mr. McGehee,

Congrats on your very fine first half of the season. Descbribe what it feels like to know that you are succeeding at the AA level...a level that most believe separates strong prospects from other minor league players.

I was in attendance at the Southern League All-Star game, but I haven't been able to catch a replay of that game. What pitch were you thrown that you nailed for a HR?

Congrats on your successful season!

Have you ever been to Wrigley Field?

What was your favorite MLB team growing up?

Who is the toughest pitcher you've faced this season?

Thank you!

Mr McGehee,

Thank you for taking our questions.

Some of us fans tend to focus on a player's statistics to track his progress throught the system. As a player, how much importance do you attach to statistics yourself, and how much analysis - if any -do you do on your own numbers?

Based on the numbers, there seems to have been a positive 'jump' in your performance this season at AA level. To what do you attribute this?

Thank you very much for answering our questions Mr. McGehee!

You have shifted around the diamond in your career a fair amount. Out of all of the positions you've played so far, what has been your favorite? Do you enjoy the challenge of honing the appropriate skillsets that come with each position?

Thanks again!

Casey, many congrats on being named by Baseball America as the best defensive thirdbaseman in the Southern League! Is defense a part of the game that you really pride yourself on? What would say is your greatest strength as a player? What do you think you most need to work on yet to be a successful major leaguer?

You're having a terrific year, Casey, and we're all noticing here at NSBB. Keep up the great work!
