Rem's earning his keep tonight. He's hardly thrown any pitches. They should use him again (and stay away from Sergio). They never use Rem on back to back days anyway so use him up now while he's good.

What kind of Cubs fan wastes his time looking up stats like that? Don't you know that Neifi is just plain terrible and shouldn't be in the major leagues? :wink:

 

 

Um...Neifi is plain terrible as an everyday SS on a contending team. Stats like that are usually aberrations.

It probably wasn't you, USSoccer, but I recall a ton of posters on this site saying that Hendry was an idiot for signing Perez after he was cut by the

Giants. Neifi didn't deserve to play in the majors. He was another team's reject. No one, at that time, qualified any of their statements the way you just did. I wish they had.

He would be acceptable in a Macias-type role (as a 25th man, not the lead pinch hitter), but not as our starting SS.
