The Cubs won't have to face Burke this series, who is probably their ace.  No reason why they can't take 2/3.  Bats need to show up.

How many HRs are we going to need to overcome?

So the team doesn't consider Pedro Ramirez viable at shortstop even as a backup.  Curious if they consider Shaw there or if Miller's around until Swanson is healthy?

The pitcher musical chairs are harder to parse.  Probably just have to wait for the moves to happen and figure out the implications after the smoke clears.

According to @JesseRogersESPN, Dansby Swanson has a Grade 2 oblique strain.

Normal timetable is 4-6 weeks, lines him up to be ready for postseason.

I dig that she's just an earnest Cub fan who has the bandwidth to post-up in the mid-afternoon to take snaps (and selfies) with Cub players; and in the process ends of back-dooring into scoops.

She comes from Schaumburg too, just to take these pictures

I imagine Pedro is going to man 2B for the next several weeks right. Hoerner is by and large the best option at SS.

Totally, but calling up Owen Miller and shipping Triantos down means Pedro is  not considered an option at all at SS.  That's not crazy or shocking but I feel like we didn't know that so definitively a few hours ago.

Despite him being at the park no move for Milner yet.  Assuming that's tomorrow or Wednesday?
