Difference between this year and last year is their inability to beat division opponents more than they lose to them. 16-9 at the break last year, 10-12 with 4 left as of now.

35 runs in the first 26 of this homestand, 1 in the last 18. This is historical. Their run differential went from +23 all the way down to +4. It’ll really piss me off if they’re 0-6 at Wrigley versus the cardinals and brewers before the all star break. That can’t happen.

I wasn’t even a baseball fan in middle or high school. Didn’t start following the Cubs until I moved to Chicago for college.
