If it's true that PCA is doing all this because of a suggestion Bregman made, guy has been worth his weight in gold

Yeh, he had a clubhouse heart to heart with PCA,  and basically told him to stay mentally present and shake off the pressure.

Learn how to compartmentalize the game, telling him to move on to the next pitch or the next day and keep attacking.

Whatever the Cubs are trying to do with Cabrera isn’t working . Maybe he should go back to what he was doing last year . What a dissapointment he has been

Seriously,  outside of Brown,  who do you really trust in this rotation to get you a quality start

Shota (with Amaya) and Assad.

I generally trust Rea and Assad to give solid efforts.  Much moreso than Cabrera.

Won't need to worry about a blister knocking him out tonight,  hes already over 50 pitches in 2 innings

Yeah, and most of them pitched after 2 outs in the 2nd.  It was awful.

The pitch count is especially frustrating because the bullpen looks to be very busy the next few days starting with the doubleheader tomorrow

Right,  bats gonna need to squeeze out 2-3 more runs to give them a little breathing room so Counsell can ride someone an extra inning or two tonight.
