I was today years old when I learned horsefeathers laces counted towards catchers interference. Unreal.

If laces don't count in tagging a runner then they shouldn't count in catcher's interference, no?

my hope is that they would skip Taillon

With no day off for another 11 days after Thursday,  theyre better off giving everyone that extra day rest

Man the Brewers are clearly dramatically better at everything a baseball team does than we are, Murphy is so far ahead of Counsell they may as well be in different sports, but why do they have to turn into a group of special needs kids when they see Brewers uniforms?

How do we know it was Counsell holding Milwaukee back and not David Stearns?

I feel like ever since PCA’s interaction and total overreaction with the White Sox fan, he’s lost the plot.

Whoa, man. That’s just too reasonable a take. 🙂

He hasn’t been good. The other options are way worse.

Welp, this seemed likely at some point, though I didn't think it would be this soon. I think the ideal scenario was not to have to lean on him too hard in the regular season, but that was kinda shot when half the staff went down.

If this is serious at all, I think you have to go out and get someone now. Like right now, pretty much.

1985 Cubs. Someone mentioned that the other day. Here we are

Definitely...

Rick Sutcliffe (SP): Suffered a partial tear of his left hamstring in May. After an early return, he suffered a groin strain, shoulder tenderness, and was later sidelined again in September after an infamous stationary exercise bike fall.

Dennis Eckersley (SP): Sidelined during the season due to a shoulder injury.

Scott Sanderson (SP): Spent time on the DL due to elbow/arm injuries.

Steve Trout (SP): Missed significant time due to arm and shoulder injuries.

Dick Ruthven (SP): Spent time on the DL after a freak injury where he was hit in the foot by a line drive, resulting in a broken toe.

Pat said Cabrera was limping? I thought it was his arm that was supposed to go bad.

Maybe just cramps?

Not trying to take a victory lap but last season I posted a lot about how badly I didn't want the Cubs to get Cabrera.  Dude is Javier Assad with a better baseball savant page lol.  A mental ****** who will never live up to his ridiculous, undeserved hype.

I also remember i believe a 13 game losing streak right as the injuries started piling up.

If PCA texted Caleb right now, he would reply “new phone, who dis?”
