Got to keep winning to keep pace with what seems to be the greatest division in the history of baseball.  Still so salty we're about 1/5 of the way through the season and every damn team is .500 or better in the NL Central.

I'm not worrying about what the rest of the division is doing right now. All the Cubs have to do is keep doing their thing.

Who had Horner and Swanson being our top RBI guys (by far) after 32 games?

Dansby has underperformed his xwOBA by pretty significant margins his first three years here, so it’s nice to see him getting results, albeit a little weirdly. The 16% walk rate won’t last, but neither will the 227 BABIP. But it’s looking like he’s going to need to stay league average or better offensively because the defensive metrics have leveled off.

Does anybody know what happened to Palencia tonight?  He pitched against 3 hitters, 2 outs, and he didn't finish the inning.  I'm wondering what it means.

I'm guessing he was on a 20 pitch limit. He hit 101 multiple times and even had a 102.

OK.  If that's the case, that'd be good.  I was wondering if it was the pitch count or he got hurt again.

Nico left the game, wtf

Wonder if the neck thing is related to his getting beaned in the head.
