There are a LOT of worse takes than that.

Maybe it is the worst new take. Most of the others are retreads. It is also the one that didn’t age well, at all.

It didn't age well because he has 3 home runs??  I mean...Ryan Theriot once hit 2 Hrs in the same game.  The worst current take I've seen - and I'm not on here as often many others - was Cam Smith now being one of the best RFs in the NL, AND, I've been critical of that trade.

There was a guy anointing Caissie after three games against the Rockies as well.

Nico stop hunting for power!

My argument was that he's tried hunting for HR in years past and it didn't work.  But if Nico can completely change his hitting profile on flyballs and keep hitting HR I'd love to be wrong.

Hoerner should stop trying to hit fly balls may be the worst take of all.

Hindsight is 20/20.  Didn't hear anyone wanting to turn Nico into a HR hitter before Opening Day, because he's never been able to drive the ball out of the ballpark much but has been able to slash liners all over the field.  It's not exactly a hot take.  And sample size still applies here

Like I said above, if Nico can  add more HR to his game to the point that its worth him hitting more FB I'll be very glad to wrong.

First time over .500 all season. Nice bounce back after that crappy Pirates series and start of the Phillies series.

Maybe the bats just needed to get out of the March/early April cold Wrigley nightmare.  They hit well in Tampa and Philly.

PCA/Nico are from California, Bregman from New Mexico and played in Houston, Mo/Amaya from Latin America, Swanson from Atlanta.  Would make sense.

I’m so sick of the Brewers winning close games.

At least the Mets $381 million roster is doing well.

Only 9 losses in a row.

Busch and Mo last season in the minors he extreme platoon splits but close to dead even in 2024. Is this an organizational philosophy coaching, left handed bats to adjust their swings paths towards mashing righties or is this typical throughout the league?

All 30 teams played spring training in Arizona or Florida. I think everyone is affected equally whether you’re from the south or from Minnesota like Busch who hasn’t hit in any temperature.

Offense is broken guys. Time to trade everyone. Should’ve kept Caissie.

any other stupid ass stuff people have said this season?

Passion is the true enemy of reason and we are all passionate here and I'll wager have all said something stupid on here over a long season.

He is definitely selling out for power and you will be happy with the results. Hes already just missed several warning track shots with 35 degree LA. Hes gonna pick his spots and turn on one if he gets the pitch hes looking for. Hes plenty strong enough.
