I never heard of him. This feels like either Michael Reinsdort got himself a new scapegoat or the other candidates passed on the Bulls job and this was the Bulls making this announcement before that info got out. Or it could be both.

Either way, I am very uninspired about the hire.

Positives: He's not a Paxson roadie, he was found by the hiring firm. He got out of New Orleans right when Dumars was hired there, so he's not a complete idiot. Atlanta fans are really disappointed he left after reshaping the team this year into a genuine playoff contender.

 

Cons: First timer like AKME. Reinsdorf still owns the Bulls.

I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit that I had no idea this dude played at Texas A&M. Then again, I use “played” liberally. He barely saw the court from looking at his stats. Hope he gets this franchise back on track.

I mean I'm sure Lloyd is actually good but I'm also glad they didn't go to comfortable (Pax) route either. 

 

Is this guy anything? Impossible to know. Feels like such a crap shoot role.

Honestly they're probably rolling the dice on a young, unproven commodity because he’ll be cheaper than someone with experience.
