From a cursory glance at his numbers I believe it's safe to say this guy is definitely worse than yesterday' Rockies' starter.  The Cubs will get to him, the Rockies near perfect execution will not continue and the wind will not save them tonight.

I'm old enough to remember when day games at Wrigley were a thing

If today were a day game, it would be delayed but yes I remember when there were day games on weekdays

What's the wind supposed to be like tonight? feel like we've had 3 or 4 knocked down the last 2 games

Agreed, I think we had a couple of homers knocked down and we also hit several other line drives right into gloves - so I thought scoring the tying and winning runs on a check swing and flair respectively was leveling baseball fortune last night.

Combination of the Cubs bats quieting a bit, the wind and, to their credit, Rockies pitchers have yet to a make a mistake this series.  It's annoying as horsefeathers but, they in the big leagues which means they're capable.  Don't think  their mistake free pitching will continue tonight.

For those who just automatically assume a sweep when a real bad team goes on the road to plays a good team, look no further than to NY and check out what the Sox are doing to the Mets. Baseball is stupid. A bad team does win once in a while on the road against a good team.

I know that pointing out a single mistake in two games proves your point, but I'm still a little upset about the one sliderguy grooved late that Dansby just gazed at

Well, okay, one mistake, so far, for the most, part they've pitched really well, too well for the Rockies.

Pirates as well, yesterday they had a 7 run 8th vs the Diamondbacks. Diamondbacks bullpen seems to be experiencing some of the difficulties the Cubs have had and Martinez is hurt.  They've had several late inning implosions, I remember that dipshit Brenly cackling when they had the big 8th in their loss to the Cubs.  Don't think he's cackling much these days.

Did a lobotimized preschooler redesign the Cubs.com main page?

The new design irritates me. I have to go to the main mlb.com and scroll down to find league standings. Terrible design. Everything doesn't fit properly in the window due to how large they make everything.

Good teams sweep bad teams.  Happens all the time.

Breslow and the Red Sox not helping us out at all.

I was hoping the Brewers would lose a game or two that series.

Very true.  We shouldn't assume but also these are the series they need to sweep.  Go Cubs!

Can we just start with a 5 run 1st inning, so we can choose if we don’t want to watch the other 3 hours?
