The Cubs toppled the previously undefeated Padres in their home opener. Can they repeat the feat today?

Another winnable pitching match up. Would be great to take a second here and guarantee a series win.

Nick Pivetta with the wind blowing in is a really tough matchup since his one weakness is dongs.  That said Boyd's a flyball pitcher too so this should be another low scoring game.  Hopefully we can defense and baserunning our way past them again.

Cubs play the Dbacks again in two weeks so unless this is a minimum length stay he will miss that series

Looks like he's eligible the series before the Cubs, and watching the highlights this morning it didn't look super serious(pulled up lame running out an XBH), so I wouldn't be surprised if he's back.  But 10 days isn't a ton of time and the Cubs are the back end of a Dbacks road trip so decent chance that ready or not they wait til they're back at home the ensuing series(with an off day for good measure)
