Nibbler's nibblin' his way through well enough but averaging 20 nibbles per inning isn't going to get him deep in the game.

PCA getting rid of that crap from his hair is a good thing. Just saying…

Not at all. Bleach can and does eventually ruin hair.

I am probably showing my age…

I was just going to complain about how the umps keep expanding the zone on Seiya and then he goes and does that

They are. Hopefully, they go to the fully automated strike zone next season and not that challenge system. He'll probably benefit more than most.

Never say never and all that jazz, but Id guess it's incredibly unlikely they do a fully automated zone next year. Challenge system feels like the way they will go.

They'll waste time with challenges rather than get it right the first time and then complain when games last two minutes longer

Look I know it's unrealistic to expect relievers to shut it down every time out but does it have to be an immediate stress test this often?

I remember last year when I was tracking how many times the pen came in and immediately gave up a run in their first inning of work. Don’t really want to track that again.

I doubt it. They've done the challenge system in Triple-A. It works well and runs quickly. You barely notice it. And it's probably a lot easier to implement that than try to fight the umpire union to go full bot-zone.
