Exactly, biggest difference was pitching, the Dodger lineup of Ohtani and mostly replacement level players is nothing special.

Eh, I think we're underselling the Dodgers sans Betts/Freeman. Realistically, the Dodgers are really good against LHP. They still have guys like Tommy Edman (career 125 wRC+ against LHP), Kike Hernandez (career 113 wRC+ against LHP), Will Smith (career 126 wRC+), Teoscar Hernandez (career 139 wRC+) in the lineup with Shohei. Even someone like Miguel Rojas is pretty competent (95 wRC+ against LHP.

The lineup is awesome when you factor in Betts and Freeman for sure. But it's still very capable on an every day basis.

Did you though?

Yes, I did. Had they added 2 games (depending on what tier the games were) my ticket prices would have been up between 4% and 6% from the previous year. Pretty standard increase year over year.

Eli Morgan got optioned to Iowa.  That answers the question of whose roster spot Brad Keller would take.

Last questions for next week are whether Brown makes the roster and which of Workman/Brujan does.  I'd guess "no" and Workman respectively.

So does the last pitching spot come down to Brown or Miller? If Brown makes it they have to dfa Miller. So I agree Brown will start at AAA.

The options are:

- Someone gets put on the IL

- Hodge or Pearson gets sent to Iowa

- Someone gets cut

Considering we didn't see Miller at all against the Dodgers, I agree if they want Brown to stay up in the bigs Miller's probably the casualty.

I'm guessing it's because Morgan has options remaining but that's super annoying. He's been good and I thought looked good this spring and we gave up a decent asset for him. I guess there isn't a harm in seeing what you have with Keller or how Pearson and Merryweather look but I don't love it.

And I feel like Workman had a good enough spring to make the team but I could also see them preferring Brujan's versatility in the beginning. I do hope they find a way to keep Workman and don't just return him.

It was good enough to score 10 off the Cubs 🤷‍♂️😅
