Their performance pre and post firing suggests otherwise. They played hard for Eberflus. They’ve quit since he was fired.

Because the season was effectively over. You had Jaylon Johnson screaming at Eberflus after the Detroit game in the locker room. You had Allen saying that the players did enough to win and that the coaches let the team down. This was more than just thinking Eberflus was a dork.

Odunze has been a big disappointment.  I prefer my 1st round receivers don't let the ball bounce off their face in the end zone.

Don’t tell his dad that. I wouldn’t consider him a disappointment though. He’s played good enough in a really tough year and with a lot of other playmakers around him that are getting passes and opportunities that he would normally get.

Haven’t been particularly impressed with him. Occasionally he does something impressive and gives me hope but definitely been a bit underwhelmed at what I’ve seen. Still think he’ll be a solid WR though

What happened to onside kicks that take a big hop into the air to give the kicking team a chance to recover it?  Why do guys not kick it like that anymore?  Now they just kick it on the ground right to the returning team.

Let me get this straight.

The Vikings commit a penalty on the PAT. The Bears at THAT time decide to go for 2 assuming it's because they are now closer to the goal line.

... and they decide to go wide and throw it? If that was your play call, why didn't you just go for 2 to begin with?

I was willing to give Brown a chance to show is worth. I do not want him even as an OC after that decision.

Completely disagree. He’s been about as good as you could hope from a rookie WR. These guys can’t be expected to be huge difference makers as rookies. He’s been fine, and showing signs of being impactful

moore and kmet are the ones stealing money and are lucky the rest of the team situation is such a dumpster fire that they're not catching more heat for it

I disagree with this. The first OC actively ignored these guys. Williams has a hard on  for Keenan, who smartly installed himself as a father figure early on. It’s been a disaster. Hopefully Caleb can adjust to losing his security blanket and depend more on the other guys

WTF are the horrible takes? People are honestly upset with Odunze and Moore? Are you actually paying attention?

There are very few players on this team who have met or exceeded expectations.  There is criticism that can be warranted for almost everyone.

It did work for the Bears earlier in the year

Add Caleb Williams to the list of bears who no longer want to be here this season and are just ready for it to be over.

He only took two sacks, so the record is probably safe

He really should have pulled an Eli Manning

Kmet hasn't been a target. Not his fault. He's been needed as a blocker a lot more often than he should.

The fact that Moore is even walking... let alone playing in the NFL... is a testament to his character. The guy's been beaten down on so many occasions and still gets back into it. He hasn't been paid enough for the beating he's taken.

It blows my mind that the Bears are this bad and might not even get a Top 10 pick in the draft.

I think there's a pretty good chance they don't.  Next week at home against the Lions is a winnable game, as is the game at home against Seattle.  And then it's possible the Packers have very little to play for in the last week.  It's not crazy to think the Bears win 2 games and end up picking somewhere in the 11-12 range.

Have you seen this team? No game left is winnable. 1) They stink and 2) They’ve given up.

The Lions game wouldn't be winnable if they spotted us 25

Moore is a screen/YAC merchant who doesn’t run the rest of the route tree well enough to open up things for his teammates consistently

Kmet is actively bad at football

This is just plain silliness
