Annoying, but in fairness if Detroit doesn’t mess up the relay, they have a pretty good shot at Busch at the plate and that throw goes home.

I think he could see Busch was definitely drawing a throw and gambled he could make it behind the play.  Problem was they fumbled the relay and made him an easy target.
