Anyone know which current player is our top selling jersey? For the jersey wearers any if you drop $100+ on anyone on this roster?

I'd do an imanaga because of the novelty

No clue. Haven’t bought a Cubs jersey since Sosa/Kerry Wood. However, I would buy two Soto jerseys if you’re listening Tom/Jed.

Heart attack Hector time. Jed’s only off season pen acquisition.

Off in the distance I can hear Brad Pitt yelling HECTOR

Got to love the patience of a baseball crowd. No booing and everyone recognise the opposition pitchers health is most important.

With this roster, if you want someone that could be around pass the next couple seasons,  I'd go with Imanaga, Swanson,  or Hoerner.   Steele another possibility

I don’t wear jerseys. For those who do I’m genuinely curious if there’s a single player worth the investment.

Finally a W...

These guys need to go on a winning streak here in a bad way, and need to go on something like winning 9 of 10 and go from there.

A fairly well played game by the Cubs results in win.  Who knows, maybe, this'll be start of a nice streak by the Cubs.  If this not so good Reds team can win 7 in a row, the Cubs are certainly capable.

I would have felt much better about it if they could have pushed across even 1 insurance run over 7.2 Reds bullpen innings.

Cubs have given up the most runs in the central division.  They are 21st in MLB in runs against.  14th in runs scored.  Their hitting is better than their pitching/defense somehow.  Mainly the pen and defense bringing them down, the SP ERA is 10th best in MLB and pen is 24th.  27th in defense according to Fangraphs.

For as much as they are I don't see the point unless it's one you're pretty certain will never go out of style. I bought a Santo off eBay like 15 years ago that's still my only one. My wife has a Santo and a Rizzo.
