Ok that’s it for me. If they lose, they are back to pissing me off for blowing the 8-0 lead in San Diego. If they win great.

horsefeathers the diamondbacks for making us play like 6 super tense games over our last 35 or so games dating back to last September.

This one has been thrown away multiple times, but the other team keeps throwing it back.

Hahah you take it, no you take it!

Is it just me, or does "going on contact" never work?

Eh, there's not a ton of downside.  You lose the runner at third and gain a runner at second. Still need a hit either way.

I’m still annoyed by that padres game. Still!

Starts with Hendricks sucking ass, he doesn't belong in the rotation. Swanson is getting paid 177 mil, he's gotta start producing like it. Bullpen is a complete mess, Hoyer just dropped the ball on that

Winning back to back regular seasons games in extra inning for the first time in 32 years would have been madness anyway.

Would rather have the runner at 3rd. Multiple ways to score a run w/o a hit from 3rd.

Yes Hader sucks so far this year. No we didn’t need to spend a ton of money on bullpen arms, yes we have promising arms in Iowa that can give us a boost, yes we historically improve on the pen as the season goes along. But we needed to do more in the offseason than Neris and Almonte after a historic September playoff collapse due largely to the pen.

these games will happen in a season, no pen is going to hold every lead, but there’s already 4 games this year I can think of that the pen had a major negative impact on. That rate can’t continue

Wick gonna need to go 9 tomorrow 😅

What arms are fresh in Iowa? Have a feeling Palencia is going down tomorrow and someone is on their way to Arizona.

8 of the Cubs last 45 games (~18%) dating back to last year have involved the Cubs losing a game where they had a lead in the 8th inning or later. That’s historic horsefeathers

they have a terrible bullpen and no closer, get used to it
