I'm on quite a roll after being forced into these damn game threads. 😀

Do the fans over at brewer fanatic know that you're responsible for our 5 game win streak?

Gosh, I can't even imagine how we'd feel being hit with that whamo if we'd traded for him

Ohtani is still pretty effective vs. LHP, though not as menacing as is vs. RHP.  Comparing lineups would one take the Braves or Dodgers?  Think I'd take the Braves, Dodgers are top heavy, whereas the Braves have a little more balance to the lineup.

It feels like these pitcher injuries are becoming more common then ever, even with all this load management

Think it's contributing to the injuries? I remember Fergie Jenkins saying he'd throw 100 pitches before his starts and didn't agree with the current load management philosophy.

Ohtani is not a switch hitter.

Right? Though, so far Busch looks really, really good. I love the walks from him.

I honestly thought he was, cannot believe I didn't check, guess I'm old.

I’m with you. I didn’t even know he was hurt before I saw that headline today. If we traded for him instead of signing Shota, Bieber, Steele, and Tallion could have potentially all been injured together.

Busch has looked awesome. I guess in this hypothetical Busch would move to 3rd, Morel primarily DH, and Naylor at 1B.

To be fair, there’s not much he can’t do on a baseball field. It’s easier to just assume he can do literally anything lol

Thanks, I did fix my post.  Funny thing I did look up his splits assuming he was facing LHP as a RHB of course, did not bother to check if he was actual switch hitter.

There's some survivorship bias issues here. Maybe the reason Fergie and all those guys were as effective as they were despite the workloads is because they were the only genetic freaks capable of handling that workload.
