Scott fumbles, Foreman someone how gets the ball back into his chest and still looses it. This will somehow be Fields's fault

I can probably get there.  Fields put the offense in a long situation, then held the ball too long before dumping off and gave the defense time to swarm.

We're done scoring until garbage time. Detroit's going to keep blitzing and dare Fields to beat it. He will not.

Maybe? The offensive line isn't giving him any favors right now - and Detroit is not letting us run on early downs. They need to play action and execute a bit to make them back off.

I actually like how Fields is playing at the moment - warts and all. He can't factor in his wide receiver inexplicably fumbling.

How did Fields put them in a long situation? It was his center who wouldn't hike the ball that led to the penalty.

damn that as nifty throw to Mooney - a rocket on the run while moving away from defenders

thats the type of play that makes Fields potentially special

teams that need to be "blown away" by a prospect to replace their current starter don't call 3 QB power sweeps and other designed runs in the first half of games that aren't all that important to win imo

I would not run on 1st down until something changes in the Lions alignment. It ain't working

God, Fields's balance turns that from a 1 yard gain to a 5 yard gain. It's cool to be reminded of just how physically talented this dude is.

He runs like Gayle Sayers

They need to give him something easy to hit on a blitz - I'd have to watch again to see if someone was there, but bleh

This is about worst case scenario though for that 3rd down - no clock runs and the Lions get a chance for a back-to-back

He needs to give it to himself.  He can signal a hot route. I saw Bagent do it.
