This was a good enough watch that I'm at least a little worried about our pick from them if he starts to look better in the second half. Hopefully they fire sale.

I still don't feel like we missed out on him because he's so teeny tiny, but he's starting to show that elite anticipation and even made some throws outside of the numbers.  The first pass he gets off, I think it starts about 2 minutes in, was so ridiculous on anticipation.  At the moment of he decides to make the throw, the receiver is double-bracketed and a third defender is in the area the throw is aiming for.  But by time the ball gets there, it's wide open.

Jalen Hurts has a week to throw each pass. Cleanest pocket ever

Amazing what an elite offensive line will do for an offense.  Both these teams are elite overall.

jordan love kinda sucks

Offensive Line is currently average at best. No WR or TE on roster has even started 17 games yet in their entire careers, Aaron Jones played in only his second game. They have the youngest roster in the NFL magnified by the offensive side of the ball. And it’s only game 6 of his first year starting. Lots of intangibles. But he hasn’t been very good, average at best.

I don't know if anyone caught the last 2 minutes of Browns v Colts, but both coaches/teams were doing everything they could to lose. I thought for sure that Cleveland was going to blow it when they were gifted 1st and goal from the 1 and decided to call passing plays on the first three downs before handing it to Karim Hunt on 4th for the go-ahead score.

Cleveland had no timeouts.  If they had called a run play earlier it would have taken so much time that they would likely have lost at least one of their chances to score.

And gifted was absolutely right, 2 bad calls in a row.  And I'm one who usually defends referees, but both of those were highly questionable at best.

The PI was a bad call, but the illegal contact before it was legit.

It sure sounds like Carolina is determined to add a good WR before the trade deadline this year. I'm hoping that's not the move to get them to start squeaking out some wins.

I think that was more legit, but I think there are two main reasons that it was a bad call.

1) Cooper puts his hands on him arguably first which usually increases the amount of contact allowed.

2) Even though it appears like the defender was trying to commit a foul as he was falling down, he doesn't make nearly as much contact as he wants to.  Cooper stiff arming the defender caused more impediment of the route than the actual contact by the defender,
